2) Desire to create - The earth is full with very creative people. And many of them have a strong desire to make something from their own hands. People such as this, go on to create many wonderful things that we get to enjoy everyday. The desire to create can help you to achieve your jewelry making goals.


3) The Time - To do anything these days you need to set aside time to do it. Jewelry making can sometimes be quick and easy or time consuming and difficult. So be sure to schedule your time wisely.


4) Patience - Patience will help you to complete your jewelry, and create it the way you envisioned it.

Last, you need imagination. Believe me when I say you can come up with many ideas that others may not even think of. When it comes to making jewelry there are endless ways to arrange the beads, endless ways to make use of the many jewelry findings. There are endless selections of beads. As we speak, new findings, new beads and componets are being invented. So your jewelry making experiences will be endless.

What started my journey into jewelry making was something so simple. I had purchase a pair of earring that I really loved, but it was too long. I thought maybe I could find someone to shorten it a little for me. But most people in my area were sellers of jewelry but not repairers of jewelry.



Well I looked at it, and attempt to redo the earring. It took a while because I did not have the correct tools, but I was successful. I realized that I like it. That same pair of earrings that was too long  now looks better on me, because I adjust it to fit ME. That was the beginning of my journey into making jewelry.




And that is one of the good things about making you own jewelry, you can make it to fit you and your life style. You can choose whatever color beads or type of beads you wish. Or you may prefer chain with beads or maybe wire. There are so many difference ways to create various styles of jewelry.
